  2. 9f9ebc48 Switch from deploy-rs to nixos-rebuild for remote deployment The main reasons for this are that deploy-rs is quite complex and annoying and unofficial, and I'd rather use SSH cryptography and root login using a dedicated key rather than using Nix signing keys. Also my signing key isn't encrypted so it feels like more of a security hazard. This reduces the number of lines in my config by quite a bit. The biggest downside is that now the deployment parameters aren't hardcoded in the flake but rather something I have to pass on the CLI, but it's included in the cheatsheet. I also reordered the cheatsheet into implicit sections. Anthony Wang authored at Anthony Wang comitted at

  13. 8b255a93 Use systemd user service to run ssh-add A lot of things don't like adding the SSH keys to the agent on demand, such as Git or SFTP in Dolphin Anthony Wang authored at Anthony Wang comitted at

  15. 8fe06fa5 Convert all ThinkPad Bash scripts to Fish, other random cleanup The XVM md4c script still uses Bash for performance reasons (although maybe switching to Dash would be even more effective) Anthony Wang authored at Anthony Wang comitted at

  22. 7590ff5c Route a smaller subnet over Wi-Fi for KDE Connect For posterity, this is the help message that I posted on the SIPB Mattermost: I'm trying to use KDE Connect on my laptop in my room, which has a bit of a complicated setup since it's both connected to Ethernet and Wi-Fi. My laptop is only able to connect to my phone via Wi-Fi so I ran nmcli connection modify "MIT SECURE" +ipv4.routes "10.0.0.0/9" to route all connections to the devices on MIT Wi-Fi over Wi-Fi instead of Ethernet which it uses by default. This has been working fine for the past two years but it broke sometime this summer. Now, with that routing rule, even when my laptop is unplugged from Ethernet and only using Wi-Fi, KDE Connect still fails to reach my phone, even though I'm still successfully able to run an HTTP server on my phone and connect to it on my computer. Also, that routing rule should just be a no-op when my laptop is connected to only Wi-Fi. I tried downgrading KDE Connect using the magic of NixOS but the downgraded version just segfaults so I can't conclude much from that. Actually, the stranger thing is that KDE Connects works around 25% of the time, but it's inconsistent. I might just give up and use KDE Connect over Bluetooth instead of Wi-Fi.
